Our Terms
The small print:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE FOR BURCOT, CONSTANTINE
BAY, PADSTOW, CORNWALL PL28 8LF.
1. Rental Reservation. A rental contract comes into effect
upon receipt of the booking form together with a deposit of 20% of
the cost per week of hire.
2. Payment. The balance of payment is due eight weeks prior
to the commencement of the rental period. If payment is not received
by the due date the owner reserves the right to give notice in
writing that the reservation is cancelled. The hirer will remain
liable to pay the balance of the rent unless the owner is able to
re-let the property. Reservations made within eight weeks of the
start of the rental period require full payment at the time of
booking.
3. Accommodation. Burcot is available to rent
from 3pm on the Friday of arrival until 10am on the Friday of
departure and the maximum number of persons to reside in the
property must not exceed ten unless the owner has given written
permission. Smoking is not permitted within the property. One well
trained dog is welcome (please remove and hygienically dispose of
all dog pooh from the garden or surrounding area) but not allowed
into bedrooms.
Linen and towels can be provided for an extra charge to cover the
laundry costs - please ask for details.
Any telephone calls, other than local
ones, may be charged to the hirer. The hirer and their party
must agree to be considerate tenants and take good care of the
property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition.
4. Accidents. It is inevitable that accidents may happen.
Details should be passed to the owner as soon as
possible, who reserve the right to require reimbursement from the
hirer for any costs arising. Should the owner receive reimbursement
from insurers in respect of any damage caused, the hirer will be
responsible for the uninsured excess.
5. Cancellation. In the event of cancellation by the hirer
refund of monies paid will be made if the owner is able to re-let
the property. However the hirer is strongly recommended to arrange
holiday cancellation insurance.
